It has almost been one full year since I left the States to come and student teach here in Costa Rica. Little did I know I would accept a 6 month job following graduation which lead to signing a full year contract with the school I came to love.
This blog is not to talk about teaching. This blog is for me to spill my thoughts and feelings while traveling and living in this beautiful country. I wanted to start a blog a while ago, but could not find the motivation to do so. Well apparently I found it at 11:00 P.M. on a Friday night while I allowed my emotions to swallow me whole.
This past week has been an amazing start with the school year. However, sleeping less, stressing more, and missing my friends and family from home during this crazy week definitely made the lonely nights seem a little longer. It is rare that all the feelings catch up to me, however occasionally I let them. Tonight was one of those nights.
This blog will be the raw truth. I will not hide or sugar coat things. Just simply express experiences how I encounter them. Therefore this is my blank canvas as I spit out my thoughts.
